Life changed suddenly for the whole world when COVID-19 arrived, and with it came the need for people to quarantine themselves in their homes. Children and adolescents became immersed in a new reality which has had a huge impact on their lives"
Is this thought true for you? Please leave your comments.
I agree that Covid-19 came to change our lives completely, it was a very drastic change since to this day we are still in danger of contracting the virus, in adolescents it has totally changed the perspective of life, itself Everything has changed and technology has been significantly involved, which has now become a main tool for communication and not only for education, but also in the workplace and education.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you, the Coronavirus (COVID19) drastically affected not only me, but the whole world, from one moment to another they put us in quarantine, we did not know how to take it or how long it would last since many people died and others they got infected, with the passing of time we learned about taking it and getting ahead. Students have had to adapt to this new lifestyle such as having classes online and saying that technology has become our ally today, for homework, work or being in communication with our family, friends, acquaintances or teachers.
ReplyDeleteI am sure that yes, life changed us suddenly, we can no longer go out with friends to enjoy a meal, a walk or simply at school or university, if we are careless we can get sick with the virus.
ReplyDeleteStudying online is not comfortable, not only because of the internet, which is sometimes bad, but also because knowledge is not fully transmitted
I hope that by taking care of ourselves we can return to normality soon, I miss seeing my friends in person, we haven't seen each other for a year and it's not the same behind a screen.
I think it is true that no one ever prepared us to live in a world confinement for almost a year and it is true that we all had to adapt to a new lifestyle, so I agree that we young people had to get used to a virtual lifestyle, since for two years this has been our new reality where we got used to live in this way, however we all want to go out as we used to do before to learn better.
ReplyDeleteI also agree that the Covid-19 came to change our lives, the covid changed the lives of the whole world, many people died everywhere, it destroyed entire families, the pandemic was a hard blow for all people, It even affected the country's economy too much, companies, businesses, many people lost their jobs, and it also affected education, we had to get used to life with a mask, alcohol, distance, virtual classes and technology had a great impact because it was a very good method to continue with education, work and to communicate.
ReplyDeleteIndeed, the pandemic has changed a lot of aspects. The way to receive classes virtually is one of them, where they have accompanied us to this day, leaving many gaps in knowledge but at the same time teaching us to educate ourselves. Another very Notorious is the use of a mask everywhere that is sometimes even annoying but allows us to protect our health. In short, the pandemic has made us change the perspective of our lives.
ReplyDeleteFor me, it not only changed the lives of children, but of all people worldwide, since no one was prepared to wear a mask all the time and even walk with alcohol, covid 19 is a very serious disease that we all have to have Be very careful when leaving and also when arriving at our homes, this affects everyone and changed everyone's life, starting with some children and young people studying virtually, many people telecommute and others have to leave risking their lives, we have to learn to adapt to this new world and get ahead.

ReplyDeleteI think the pandemic changed everyone's life in every way, many lost their jobs, students withdrew from school/college/university because of the lack of devices to receive their classes, the confinement affected the mental health of many people, but I also think that this situation served us to look back on our life before this and realize what really matters, many people in the pandemic felt lonely and missed their family and friends.
DeleteFor me, it is true. The Pandemic tooks away many things such us relatives, friends, education, health, and more. But the only thing that will never snatch us away its our dreams, goals and the power and determinate that we have for make them possible. It is true that Pandemic force us to follow many rules to be safe. And I think, is more difficult to the young people and adults to follow them than children, because we have this felling to lose our life. We lived in a different world that Coronavirus has been distroyed. But, at the end, all the people have to adapt in this new era when the solidarity with others is the most important.
ReplyDeleteThe impact it had on my home was certainly moderate, it did not make people more united in the family but it did highlight certain problems that little by little we were seeing how to solve, taking advantage of something negative and making it positive, that is why today when it is still to return to normality we maintain that union as an important family
ReplyDeleteThere were never seriously ill in my closest family but there was some scare on the part of someone that led us to reflect on things and life.
This thought is very true since the pandemic arrived, our lives took a big turn, we had to lock ourselves up in our houses from one day to the next and this had a great impact from a face-to-face life to a virtual life and that is how it was in education, too. adapting to new realities and thus not infecting us and our loved ones we had to appreciate life more with new rules our essential accessory had to be the mask and so endless things this pandemic came to drastically change our lives.
ReplyDeleteIf it is true, with the arrival of the pandemic I think that the lives of all people changed, both for children, young people and adults. We have seen ourselves with the need to adapt to new modalities such as wearing a mask, working and studying in a virtual way. In short, life is no longer as it was before, before we were free we could walk without any fear wherever we want, however today we can no longer leave.
ReplyDeleteThis thought is very true and at the same time sad because our dreams of learning in a better way our classes have been fading, wanting to go to university and make new friends or talk in a calm way is difficult, that is why they say that we must value the time of our lives, and also value the people who are by our side because the future is not known, we only know that God acts in his way and in his time
ReplyDeleteThis comment is very real, after covid19 our lives were different compared to now, the children are raised in another manner so there are moments when people now not know how to react or how to interact with other people, this is perjudical in the future because for them having social interactions will be a bit awkward and maybe even with fear to get out of their houses.
ReplyDeleteThe impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on my daily life was a total change. The pandemic affected me emotionally, because at the beginning of the pandemic I got Covid, it was a calm experience for me, because I was lucky enough to be asymptomatic. In my family several were infected over time, but no one has died. The pandemic for me is a consequence of the irresponsibility that all humans have.
ReplyDeleteEveryone should improve their habits, take care of nature and be empathic with all people.
Personally, I never thought I would experience a pandemic. From one moment to another we had to change face-to-face for virtuality. And change classrooms for homes.
ReplyDeleteHowever, as a student I have always kept going despite covid 19 and most people have too. In addition, our lifestyle changed too much and it was difficult for me to adapt. I only hope that very soon I will return to the U and try to make my life normal.
Really this pandemic change the life all the people and especifically young people, the adults could adapt to this reality easier than the younger people because they liked go out, meet new persons, places, speak whit their friends, and this things we haved change for to stay at home for the curfew, social distancing, and change to remote work. In my case and my family, we had some problems to adapt to the family life and the noises of the house because we were accustomed tho stay alone for the different working hours but now we addapt to this.
ReplyDeletethe precautionary measures are most important for stay safe and avoid an infection and the isolation.
Of course. In addition, the COVID19 pandemic forced us to use new technological tools, such as video calls, not only for studies but also for work, but in my opinion the strangest thing was having most of my relatives together for almost a year. I even got to meet new people.
ReplyDeleteFinally, we must remember that the pandemic is not over yet and that each person must take care of themselves, wear a mask, wash their hands and maintain social distance.
Bye.
This pandemic has been very difficult for everyone, we have lost many people worldwide, this pandemic left us something to learn and that is that we must appreciate each of our families, each of us should be grateful that we are alive, personally I hope that this nightmare is over and then continue with our lives normally, it is very complicated to continue living with this pandemic because all our elderly people can contract the virus, we must remain united and defeat this pandemic, the war continues, do not neglect.
ReplyDeleteThe truth is that I completely agree that the pandemic has had a great impact on all people in the world, however, the greatest impact is for children and andolescents because they now live in a new virtual reality. Now their life changed both at home and at school because at home they will no longer be able as a many family gatherings as before and school will not be the same, they will not be able to play with their classmates, their relationships with other people will be more limited, this will greatly affect their ability to socialize in the long run, it is really worrying. I hope that one day this pandemic ends but in the meantime we have to adapt to this new reality, where we communicate through cell phones and computers.
ReplyDeleteThe pandemic that occurred in 2019 was an unexpected event for the whole world and although it is not over yet. It is true what the thought says, all of us people had to give an unexpected turn to our lives, with the simple fact of staying at home in quarantine, we had the space to share more time in family, in the same way the rivers, the forests, the nature, are recomposing. So the Covid-19 came to humanity to change our lives, as much as for study, work, any kind of meeting, technology was imposed. But despite everything, we have managed to get ahead.
ReplyDeleteI never thought I would experience a pandemic, the pandemic it affected me so much emotionally and physically, because at the beginning of the pandemic I got Covid, it was a calm experience for me, because I was lucky enough to be asymptomatic, but in my life, my husband's life and my children's life our daily life was a total change. The biggest impact is for children and adolescents because they now live in a new reality. Now their life has changed both at home and at school because at home they will no longer be able to have as many family gatherings as before and school will not be the same so they will no longer be able to play with their classmates, and I hope that this pandemic ends as soon as possible.
ReplyDeleteI believe that the pandemic took away many things from us, we all had to get used to a new life, the children no longer went out to play, we could not get together, we got used to a very different study modality that until now has been difficult for us, it is difficult to live with this , I remember being depressed, but I know that one day this will change and we will get back together without fear.
ReplyDeleteI trust that everything will be fine, we will no longer lose loved ones, no more businesses will close and we will be able to be reborn with a new life
Yes, personally it changed me a lot in all senses because I used to do everyday things that in the middle of the pandemic I can no longer do. Mainly going to school, before I used to attend classes, now I can't because of the risk of getting infected, as well as many other activities such as going to a concert or going to a party. Even to eat in a restaurant today I ask to have it brought to my house.
ReplyDeleteIt also changed us in the sense that we must always wear a mask and alcohol, it has become commonplace.
I think that COVID-19 changed the lives of all people around the world. We had to get used to a totally new lifestyle. We had to work from home. It is true that children and young people had to receive classes online, and adapt to the fact that we can no longer walk freely in the city. We had to get away from our loved ones and adapt to transmitting our feelings by video call. COVID-19 generated a great impact on the lives of each of us.
ReplyDeleteThe pandemic affected me a lot, I could no longer see my friends, almost all the stores closed and it was uncomfortable for me to wear the mask all day. At the start of the pandemic we were all happy because we thought it was only going to be a few weeks off from high school. The online classes were very fast and you did not learn well. It was a huge impact and life changing. But my dreams remain the same, no matter what I have to do, I am going to concentrate on improving my level of English, learning more every day, but I hope to return to normality soon.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely this thought is true since at first you couldn't go out as they said that you could get infected easily so the classes stopped for a while and seeing that this virus was going to continue they changed to online classes but, these were no longer the same thing, we didn't understand the teacher because of the bad internet connection, there were no laboratory practices that were very important since one learned through experience and finally the exams, despite being able to copy a classmate, since no one understood something class, could not be resolved. Today the classes are still not the same as before, there is no communication between classmates, not even between teacher and student.
ReplyDeleteWell, I think that this pandemic that came to our territory is a challenge and also a way to value more our life, our family. This is a very hard situation because some people lost family members, lost friends, lost loved ones, for that reason we must have this habit of being with our mask and our alcohol, because this disease can have children, young people and adults. In fact, I can tell people not to cut their dreams, their plans and goals. The road and the situation is hard, but we must be harder than this. But also let's not forget to fight for our personality by always striving to be a better person every day.

ReplyDeleteI agree because thanks to the arrival of covid 19 we had to isolate ourselves to avoid contagion but because of this we had to adapt to a new modality which was virtual since people could not stop studying or working.
Also thanks to this, families at this time began to have and live moments together.
Definitely!
ReplyDeleteThe pandemic has been the hardest event that the entire population has had to live through, adapting to a new reality that has marked our lives forever.
The longed-for dream of all people is to be able to return to normality, to get that idea of illness out of their heads, to be able to be people who do their daily activities as they were used to.
It is now that we realize the true meaning and value of life.
We hope soon to share, enjoy and live in peace again.
